To build a universal and multifunctional body of adult sickle cell patients through discussions by members of Theredlane.ning.com.
“Create an active global network between adult sickle cell patients”
The discussions are in five separate volumes. Each volume presents a different aspect of life affecting sickle cell patients.
The first volume of the discussions presented below.
SHARING OUR LIFE AND PERSONAL EXPERIENCES.
To present and come out with a real and personal experiences to publish articles, messages or reports on weekly, semimonthly or monthly basis through the answering of questions and concrete debates by all theredlane.ning .com members.
All the questions initially supplied will demand real and thought-provoking answers.
Questions will initially be provided by me and later all members.
Debates will be presented based on questions supplied.
Criteria for Questions.
The personal issues faced by members.
Thoughts we may frequently have.
Things we concentrate and reason mostly on especially when diseased or hospitalized.
What the public know and what we want them to know.
The need for unity and sense of debating to agree on every issue associated with sickle cell disease.
The need:
Build a wide scale of brotherhood among all members.
Share real ideas and solutions as all truthfully present cases.
Develop and build intimate relations to share information such as advances in the personal life of sickle cell patients
To know and experience the merits of the spirit of bondage and unity.
Short notes:
I do believe that sharing our life and personal experiences on a number of issues will grow in us a desire to always know and get involved in each other and care for all.
The fight against sickle cell disease is so huge that a person will need the greatest of support from only fellow sickle cell patients to help him/her face it.
For example MS KNIGHT (member of the red lane) told me that she is spending almost the whole year in hospital. Imagine the strength she can pull if all members take personal interest in her condition and send messages and even videos to encourage her in the fight.
Sample Questions. The personal issues faced by members
1. What are your weaknesses?
A broad question like this one will command real answers from members. Sub questions might even be developed.
How weak are you than the people around you?
Have you in anyway overcome anything that you were addicted to in the past? If YES. Explain how. If NO. Why?
2. In what personal issues have you been able to subdue or overcome? Your feelings?
Sub questions:
What issues associated with the disease will you name as personal? List all.
Do you publicize any suffering you encounter in life? Either business or relationships.
3. When you are hospitalized, what do you think about?
Sub questions:
Do you blame any entity? Name and explain.
Do you blame yourself? Why

I am so happy that I was able to still be here and help elect not only the best man team qualified for the job, but one that happens to be a Black man!! Our children not only has a Black President but a first family that looks like them!!
I am so happy to have been a part of this hugely historical event.
